Lake Constance DE – Cottage garden

Located on a ridge above the Upper Rhine, this landscape garden opens broad views across the surrounding hills and river valley. The project is defined by a natural sequence of garden rooms shaped by the site itself. Visitors move from a traditional kitchen garden into a romantic rose garden and finally into a wider landscape park with mature trees and pear trees wrapped in white rambler roses. Raised Corten-steel beds add a contemporary layer to the productive garden. A swimming pond integrated into the terrain forms the project’s centerpiece, overlooking orchard meadow structures and species-rich grassland. The result combines naturalistic planning, productive use and high-end private garden design. The Bodensee project combines naturalistic planting with landscape architecture, strategic garden design and enduring private gardens.
